Static cylinder of perfect fluid with nonzero spin density
Description
The interior field of an infinite static cylinder of a perfect fluid having the spins of the individual particles aligned along the axis of symmetry was studied. A solution was obtained with an assumed equation of state, and the pressure and the density were expressed as departures from their values on the symmetry axis. As in the case of spherical symmetry, the pressure is discontinuous across the boundary of the cylinder. (auth)
