Fission yields in 7.64 MeV gamma induced fission of 232Th
- 1. Academia Sinica, Beijing, BJ (China). Inst. of Atomic Energy
Description
13 cumulative yields and 10 mass chain yields from 87 Kr to 143 Ce are determined absolutely for fission of 232 Th induced by 7.64MeV γ-rays from thermal neutron capture radiation of iron. Activities of fission products of irradiated thorium discs are measured by Ge(Li)γ-ray spectrometry. The 232Th targets are sandwiched between two standardized foils of thorium to monitor the fission rate absolutely. Fission rate absolutely. Fission events of the standardozed foils of are detected by mica nuclear solid track detector
