Description

Distribution of zirconium and petroleum sulfoxides (PSO) between nitric and hydrochloric acids aqueous solutions and organic solvents and also macroporous sorbent (styrene and divinyl benzene), impregnated by PSO, is considered. The highest difference in zirconium distribution coefficients during sorption and extraction is observed at relatively low values of HNO3 concentration in aqueous and PSO concentration in organic or solid phases. Increase of the degree of Zr extraction by petroleum sulfoxides from HNO3 and HCl mixture is observed even at Zr sorption by impregnated sorbent. It is shown that impregnated sorbent with the same PSO content in comparison with organic solvents possess a higher capacity. PSO content in raffinate is decreased from 1.7 g/l at liquid extraction to 0.07 g/l during sorption by impregnated sorbent
