Description

Purpose: To improve the energy conversion efficiency by increasing the tritium breeding factor by effectively utilizing the neutrons irradiated from plasmas. Constitution: A secondary heating pipe is in communication with a vacuum container, an auxliary blanket is disposed near the opening of the secondary heating pipe such that the secondary heating pipe is inserted to the hollow portion of a double walled cylindrical. Both ends of the auxiliary blanket are tightly closed by inlet and outlet headers each of a hollow circular shape as the cooling header and lithium particles are sealed as the tritium breeder to the inside of the blanket. The inlet and the outlet headers are communicated by way of a plurality of coolant communication pipes. Accordingly, the tritium breeding factor can be increased by effectively utilizing the neutrons injected to the opening of the secondary heating pipe to thereby improve the energy conversion efficiency.
