Description
In a radioactive gaseous waste processing device of a BWR type reactor, a back-up off gas preheater is disposed in addition to an existent off gas preheater. When a steam system in a plant is stopped, an opening/closing state of remote control valves is reversed by a signal from a temperature detector. Further, a heat source is switched from an auxiliary boiler to a gland steam generator. Accordingly, loss of functions of the off gas preheater is prevented thereby enabling to avoid lowering of plant operationability. (T.M.)
