α decay half-lives of the new superheavy elements
- 1. Horia Hulubei Institute of Physics and Nuclear Engineering, RO-077125, Bucharest-Magurele (Romania)
- 2. Gh. Asachi Technical University, Iassy (Romania)
Description
The multichannel α-decay rates near the resonance threshold are estimated within a coupled-channel formalism. The self-consistent models for nuclear structure and low-energy reaction dynamics are used and practical computing methods for rates are presented. Theoretical results are compared with data and other relevant approaches. Key words: superheavy elements, alpha-decay; fission
