Cytogenetic effect in photosensitizers
Description
Incidence of chromosomal aberrations in cultivated mammalian cel mammalian cells as function of concentration of a photosensitizer and dose of UV-radiation (365 nm) was compared with theoretically expected dependence for yield of primary products of interaction between the photosensitizer molecules and DNA (mono- and diadducts). The obtained results indicate that primary injuries to chromosomes (aberrations) occur in both DNA strands
