Description

We present a free energy model for partially ionized plasmas of heavier elements, which is essentially based on the mean spherical approximation (MSA) and the reduced-volume hypothesis, and discuss its limiting behaviour and numerical examples for xenon. (author) 11 refs., 4 figs
