Onset of collective magnetic behavior in magnetically diluted insulating Eu++ compounds

Description
The temperature dependence of the magnetic hyperfine fields in the dilution series Eusub(1-x)Srsub(x)S and Eusub(1-x)Srsub(x)SO4 was studied using the Moessbauer effect of the 151Eu nucleus. For sufficient dilution of the magnetic system a superparamagnetic behavior was observed to be typical for the onset of collective magnetism
