Description

The quasiparticle Lagrange method is extended to the case of deformed nuclei with a self-consistent description of pairing and continuum states. In the Lagrangian the density - dependent term of pairing interaction is taken into account. The method is applied to remote nuclei near the proton - stability line. An explanation of the experimentally discovered effect of the enchancement of proton pairing when approaching this line is presented. A decisive role of the density dependence of pairing interaction for that effect is explicitly shown. Also isotopic dependences of the neutron Δavn and proton Δavp pairing fields in Er isotopes near the proton instability are considered. Those fields behave in different ways - the quantity Δavn has a maximum while Δavp descreases monotonously with the number of neutrons increasing. This type of behaviour agrees fairly well with experiment
