Some regularities in the variation of density viscosity and electric conductivity of the solutions of alkali metal salts
Description
Standard equations for the calculation of viscosity and electric conductivity values are derived, general regularities are established concentration-temperature dependences of these properties in a wide range of concentrations at 20-90 deg C are considered on the basis of the results of measuring viscosity, density and electric conductivity of aqueous solutions of carbonates, sulfates, nitrates, bromides, chlorides of all akali metals, with Fr exception it is found out that the Onsager equation use for concentrations higher than 0.2 k mol/m3, and higher than 0.01 kmol/m3 for Li and K bromides is impracticable. Assumptions are made on structure changes in concentrated systems resulting in electric conductivity decrease. The effect of cation nature on the change of viscosity, electric conductivity, solution compressibility of studied electrolytes is considered
