Local inhomogeneity and anomalies in the physical properties of high temperature superconducting compounds
Description
Methods of raster electron microscopy (REM) and electron diffraction were applied to show characteristic features of different heterogeneities for I1Ba2Cu3O7-δ ceramics. Anomalies in secondary electron emisssion (SEE) signal testifying to heterogeneous ceramic properties and unstable electron structure at transition into the superconducting state are found. The effect of heterogeneities on the properties of compounds in the superconducting state is discussed
