Phase magnetic segregation and magnetoresistive properties in the p-La0.8Mn1.04O3.5 manganite nanocompound

Description
The results of detailed studies of complex magnetic and resistive properties of the p-La0.8Mn1.04O3.5 nanocompound in the temperature range 4.2-300 K in magnetic fields up to 9 T are presented. The investigation of temperature, field and frequency dependences of the magnetization and susceptibility shows that below T* ∼ 265 K the nanocomposite is in a magnetic phase segregated state with ferromagnetic inclusions that form a superparamagnet. The unambiguous relationship between magnetoresistance and magnetization is revealed. The influence of aging on the magnetic and resistive properties is investigated.
