The polarized super mantle plume in pacific rim and its mineralization response

Study on mantle plume and the metallogenic system is a hot topic of current research and has made great progress in China by a large number of publication. The study of metallogenic system by super mantle plume in the Pacific rim is still in its initial stage. On the basis of previous research, this paper briefly discussed this topic in following aspects: (1) briefly reviewing the history of mantle plume study; (2) mantle plume type and its metallogenic field; (3) discrimination criteria of regular plume; (4) the redefinition of Pacific rim super mantle plume; (5) metallogenic effect of the polarized Pacific rim super mantle plume; (6) sub mantle plume of South China and the metallogenesis; (7) dynamics of Pacific rim super mantle plume. The author suggested that metallogenic domain and metallogenic explosion of Pacific rim in Mesozoic and Cenozoic was the response of Pacific super plume action. (authors)
