Description

Two mechanisms for the formation of holes in thin metallic films under femtosecond laser irradiation with the single pulse are presented in this paper: thermal one and shock-wave one. Detailed descriptions of the stages of each mechanism obtained by numerical modeling are also presented

Abstract (Russian)

В работе рассматривается облучение единичным фемтосекундным лазерным импульсом тонкой металлической пленки, нанесенной на подложку из диэлектрика. Описаны два принципиально разных механизма образования отверстий в пленке под действием излучения: тепловой и ударно-волновой. Представлены детальные описания стадий каждого механизма, полученные с помощью численного моделирования
