Description
Liquid phase H2O and D2O were measured with mid-IR lasers with wavelengths of 2.9 µm and 3.9 µm. The laser power change over time was observed when the water isotope specie was continuously replaced. Additionally, the concentration ratio of H2O and D2O as a function of time was obtained. These results indicate that quantitative measurement of water isotopes using mid-IR lasers in real-time has been successful. (author)
