Earthquake-proof support for control rod drives for nuclear reactors
Description
The supporting grid consists of two part-grids arranged at a distance from each other, where one part-grid has the shape of a square grid and the other is made of diagonal rods. The ends of the grid rods or bars are made spherical and are supported in joints in the crossheads of the upper ends of the pressure tubes. The ends of the pressure tubes are connected by flanges to the control rod drive connections. The supports can be used for PWR's and with small changes for BWR's. (DG)

Das Stuetzgitter besteht aus zwei im Abstand zueinander angeordneten Teilgittern, wobei das eine Teilgitter die Form eines Quadratrasters aufweist und das andere von Diagonalstaeben gebildet wird. Die Enden der Gitterstege- oder staebe sind kugelig ausgebildet und jeweils gelenkig in Kreuzkoepfen der oberen Druckrohrenden gelagert. Die Druckrohrenden sind an den Steuerstabantriebsstufen angeflanscht. Die Abstuetzung kann bei DWR und mit geringfuegiger Abaenderung auch bei SWR eingesetzt werden. (DG)Files
