Description
The equation of state of asymmetric nuclear matter, calculated with the Seyler-Blanchard (SB) interaction is exploited to find the asymmetry and temperature dependence of the incompressibility of nuclear matter. The incompressibility is found to decrease with both asymmetry and temperature. The results are compared with those obtained from previous calculations and recent experimental findings. The ratio of specific heats is found to increase with asymmetry at all temperatures. (orig.)
