Main features of licensing requirements for nuclear installations in several OECD member countries

The present paper contains a brief description of the main features of the above-mentioned six countries' licensing systems, namely the legal regime applicable, the appropriate licensing bodies, the general frame and scope of the respective national regimes, the involvement of the public and technical safety bodies as well as the inspection procedures. This description is supplemented by some introductory remarks. (orig.)

Der Beitrag enthaelt eine kurze Beschreibung der wesentlichen Merkmale der Genehmigungsverfahren in den sechs genannten Laendern, und zwar das anzuwendende Rechtssystem, die zustaendigen Genehmigungsbehoerden, der allgemeine Rahmen und Spielraum der jeweiligen nationalen Systeme, die Beteiligung der Oeffentlichkeit und technischer Sicherheitsgremien und Ueberwachungsverfahren. Diese Beschreibung wird durch einige einleitende Ausfuehrungen ergaenzt. (orig.)
