Description
Within the framework of the Seveso directive, Aramis (Accidental Risk Assessment Methodology for Industries) is a project which aims at developing a new method for the assessment of major risks, which could integrate the strengths of the different existing approaches in Europe (deterministic or probabilistic). This report presents theoretical developments, and the main results obtained which are also discussed in order to highlight potential ways of improvement or new directions for research.
