Description

The factors calculated for the report WASH 1400 according to ICRP's new model are dose commitment values of single inhalation that may occur in an accident. They can also be used as values of a maximum annual dose with continuous exposure. This applies to all relevant nuclides, even to cesium-137. (DG)

Abstract (German)

Die im WASH 1400 nach dem neuen Lungenmodell der ICRP berechneten Faktoren sind dose commitment Werte fuer eine einmalige Inhalation, entsprechend einer Unfallsituation. Sie koennen auch als Werte fuer eine maximale Jahresdosis bei kontinuierlicher Exposition verwendet werden. Dies gilt fuer alle relevanten Nuklide, selbst fuer Cs 137. (DG)
