Management of emergency in nuclear installations

The present paper intends to address in summarized and operative form, the management of radiological emergencies which may arise in such installations and wich may transcend the actual site of the installations. To this purpose, and in view of the lack of specific regulations, we shall revert to similar experiences from the field of Nuclear Safety and Civil Protection. As regards emergencies within the proper installations, the specific application documents contain a detailed description thereof; the reader is referred to those documents. (Author)
