Vanadium (4) sorption on anionite AV-17 modified with oxalate ions
Description
Process of vanadium sorption on anionite AV-17 modified by C2O42--anions with variations of flow rate, concentration and height of sorbent layer was studied under dynamic conditions. The mechanism of vanadium sorption is proposed. Optimum conditions of vanadium sorption in the investigated system are found to be as follows: pH 2-4, flow rate 0.5-2.5 cm/min, concentration 0.02-0.2 mg/ml, where the height of sorbent layer is 6-9 cm. The results obtained prove the importance of use of AV-17 anionite in C2O42- -form in development of chromatographic methods of vanadium separation from accompanying elements
