The design and application of FRP pipes in nuclear power plant circulation water system
Description
This article introduces the FRP pipes in the circulation water system which can reduce water loss and save power consumption, facilitate construction, and solve the problem of large diameter circulation water pipes difficult for the water pressure test. For harsh working conditions for the circulation water system, in terms of the DESIGN-BASIS of the FRP pipe, service life, effect of pipe swelling and shrinking, and sand wear, the design, product process, pipe material and test requirements of FRP pipeline were analyzed. Now the nuclear power plant circulation water system has passed the acceptance check, and operated normally, which will provide experience and reference for the future application of FRP pipeline in the circulation water system.
