Description

Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy of hydrogen deuteride (HD) is an attractive tool for a determination of the proton-to-deuteron ratio of magnetic moments. Potentially, it may provide a result an order of magnitude more accurate than the present value based on the study of atomic hydrogen and deuterium NMR spectroscopy does not deal with single molecules but with a molecular gas and here we study the pressure dependence of the results.
