Electron irradiation induced stabilisation in Cu-Zn-Al-Ni alloys
Creators
Description
It is shown that stabilisation of the 18R martensite in Cu-Zn-Al-Ni can be induced by electron irradiation followed by annealing. The results are discussed with reference to the stabilisation of the 18R martensite induced by quenching and ageing in a similar alloy, and by irradiation in Cu-Zn-Al alloys
