The regulations concerning the operation program of reactors for non-commercial electric power generation

The regulation is provided for under the law concerning regulation of nuclear raw materials, nuclear fuel materials and reactors. The operation program of reactors for nonpractical electric power generation shall be made for each reactor respectively according to the form attached. The program for three years shall be filed every year till January 31 of the fiscal year preceding that one when the beginning of operation is expected. If the installation or the revision of such installation is permitted from February 1 of the previous year to March 31 of the year concerned and the operation is to start within the period, the operation program shall be submitted without delay after the permission despite the above provision. When the operation program is altered, a notification of revision for each reactor shall be presented within 30 days after the amendment according to the form attached. Such operation programs shall be reported to the Director General of the Science and Technology Agency and the Minister of International Trade and Industry respectively.
