Molten pool theoretical analysis
Creators
Description
Theoretical studies aimed at modelling the pool behaviour in turbulent conditions and in presence of an immiscible liquid were undertaken. The features that the turbulence model is an original ad hoc algebraic differential model for turbulent regimes of low-intensity and no langrangian elements (marker particles or lines) are used to describe the interface between two different materials and to take into account the surface tension effects allow results with reasonable computing effort.
