Units of multifunctional transformation: A challenge of the next future in the development of the Chemical Engineering

Description

The units of multifunctional transformation have become, in recent years, in a new paradigm inside the chemical engineering. Applying the fundamental principle of selective removal of products, these techniques have allowed obtaining extraordinary benefits as for conversion of reactants, quality of products, energy savings and decrease of the environmental impact caused by some processes. This document has a brief discussion of the principles of such transformation processes and they are illustrated, equally, some current and future applications
