Description

Nuclear magnetic resonance on oriented sup(99m)Rh, sup(101m)Rh, 102Rh and 101Pd in an iron host has been observed at about 7 mK. The resonance frequencies of sup(99m)RhFe, sup(101m)RhFe, 102RhFe and 101PdFe in a zero external magnetic field were determined as 534.34(12), 516.11(3), 285.78(3) and 106.54(11) MHz, respectively. Taking the hyperfine fields of Bsub(H.F.)(RhFe)=-556.6(12) kG and Bsub(H.F.)(PdFe)=-527(13) kG, the nuclear g-factors were derived as vertical strokeg(sup(99m)Rh, 29+)vertical stroke=1.259(3), vertical strokeg(sup(101m)Rh, 29+)vertical stroke=1.216(3), vertical strokeg(102Rh, 6+)vertical stroke=0.674(2) and vertical strokeg(101Pd, 25+)vertical stroke=0.265(7). The observed magnetic moments are compared with the calculated values based on the core-polarization model. (orig.)
