High-molecular vanadium(5) complexes with graft copolymer of cellulose containing hydroxamic acid and amidoxime groups

Description

The interaction of vanadium (5) ions with graft copolymer of cellulose containing hydroxamic acid and amidoxime groups (complexing agent CG) was investigated. The method of electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) showed that the reduction of the latter to the tetravalent sate occurred when complexing the CG complexing agent with vanadium (5). The investigation of infrared, EPR spectra and spectra of diffuse reflection and potentiometric titration of the complexing agent and macrocomplexes permitted to assume the mechanism of complexing reactions and the structure of coordination nodes being formed in the phase of polymer. Complex stability constants had been calculated taking into account equilibriums in the liquid phase
