Internal heat sources measurements in target materials during irradiation in Maria reactor
Description
The Maria research reactor makes possible to carry out research programmes in the field of nuclear physics as well as production of isotopes for medicine and industry needs. To research these a goals it is necessary to have an experimental facility and isotope channels. Pending their design one has to take into account the heat generation in structural materials induced by an interaction of gamma radiation with the substance. In the work the calorimeter characteristics and the method of determining of internal heat sources in the reactor core and reflector have been presented. (author)
