Measuring the porosity of thin films by the electron stimulated desorption of metastable species

Description

We investigate the morphology (i.e. surface roughness, porosity and structural state) of different substrates covered with N2, by the electron stimulated desorption of metastable N2 molecules. The experimental results for N2 on H2O can be reproduced with a simple parametric model of the porous film surface
