Calculation of the optics for the system for combined irradiation of specimens of two accelerators

Description

An approximate calculation of ion optics of an electrostatic accelerator at hydrogen ion energies of up to 1 MeV is given. In accordance with calculations a set-up was installed in the measurement room of the accelerator. The set-up was designed for studyin.o. radiation effects in irradiated samples in the energy range from 0.2 to 1.0 MeV and radiation damages in materials exposed to combined simultaneous irradiation by accelerated particles from two electrostatic accelerators: a horizontal one and a vertical one
