Reflection of Alfven waves from horizontally inhomogeneous ionosphere

A number of model problems on the reflection of Alfven waves from horizontally heterogeneous ionosphere in case, when the incident wave has the arbitrary spatial structure, is solved. Models of horizontally heterogeneous ionosphere in the form of half plane, circle and band are considered. The incident Alfven wave is distributed by a set of spectral harmonics (depending on heterogeneity geometry). Reflection coefficients for arbitrary spectral harmonics, which allow to turn to the coordinated concept, are obtained. Possible applications are discussed
