Existence of the solution for optimum reactor core region selection

Description
Full text: Thermal-hydraulics calculation of the reactor includes calculation of the flow distribution, quality and content of vapour radial distribution. Since the neutron flux distribution can be described by Bessel functions, the generated heat spatial distribution can be described by the same function in case od cylindrical geometry. Relevant radial variation of coolant flow per channel is needed. Ideal calculation would deal with local relations but this approach would be complicated and technically not justified. Optimum solution would be dividing the reactor core into thermal zones. Adequate choice of zones should be done under condition of optimum discrepancy of the zone-wise local flux from the mean flux. In this way the step-function distribution would be the best approximation of the local zone-wise distribution. The analysis of the mentioned condition showed that it is fulfilled if the mean generated power in two zones is equal to local power generation on their common boundary

Pun tekst: Pri termickom i hidraulickom proracunu reaktora potrebno je odrediti raspodjelu protoka, kvaliteta i zapreminskog sadrzaja pare po radijusu reaktora. Kako je raspodjela neutronskog fluksa opisana Bessel-ovim funkcijama, za slucaj cilindricne simetrije, to se raspodjela generisane toplote podvrgava istoj zakonitosti. U vezi sa ovom raspodjelom zahtijeva se i odgovarajuca promjena protoka rashladjivaca od kanala do kanala u radijalnom pravcu. Idealan proracun bio bi sproveden lokalnim relacijama, no s druge strane, ovaj bi postupak bio komplikovan i sa tehnickog stanovista neopravdan. Kao optimalno rijesenje namece se podela reaktorskog jezgra na termicke zone. Kao uslov pod kojim treba izvrsiti ovu podjelu, potrebno je uzeti da odstupanje lokalnog fluksa od njegove srednje vrijednosti bude optimalno po zonama. Na taj nacin dobijena stepenasta raspodjela ce najbolje aproksimirati krivu lokalne raspodjele za dati broj zona. Sprovodjenjem analize ovog uslova dolazimo do zakljucka da je on ispunjen pri takvoj podjeli, pri kojoj je srednja vrijednost srednjih generisanih snaga dveju zona jednaka lokalnoj generaciji na njihovoj uzajamnoj granici (author)Additional details
