Cerium intermediate valent state in CeMsub(x) intermetallic compounds with Ni and Co

Description
By the method of X-ray lines shift the 4f-population of cerium is studied in CeCu5, CeNisub(x) and CeCosub(x) compounds in the wide region of the composition (0<=x<=8.5), temperatures (77<=T< or approximately 1000 K) and (in the case of CeCo2 and CeNi5) pressure (P approximately 12 kbar). Temperature dependences of zerium valency have been analyzed in the framework of the interconfiguration fluctuations and the model parameters have been determined
