Magnetic properties of interstitial phases in vanadium-oxygen system
- 1. Tsentral'nyj Nauchno-Issledovatel'skij Inst. Chernoj Metallurgii, Moscow (USSR)
Description
NMR-studied of the time of spin-lattice relaxation and the Knight shift on 51V nuclei in solid interstitial solutions of the V-O system in the range of compositions 0-33 at.% O2 have been carried out. A decrease in the density of d-states with the increase of oxygen content up to 16% is detected. With the increase of oxygen content from 16 to 33% a sharp decrease in the Knight shift is observed
