Multinucleon transfer reactions in the light nuclear system 19 F (72 MeV) + 27 Al

Description

In the present paper we report the recent measurements performed at I.P.N.E.- FN Tandem accelerator, Bucharest. The self supporting 27 Al foils of 470 mg/cm2 thickness were used as targets. The reaction products with the charge numbers Z between 3 and 10 were identified by using a DE (gas)-E(Si) ionization chamber filled with high-purity C H4 and portion of 130 mbar. This chamber operated in closed circuit having an improved resolution of 1.6 percent for 4.5 MeV α particles. The inclusive energy spectra and the angular distributions between 150 0 and 350 0 for the reaction products were obtained. From the analysis of these experimental data it follows that a significant contribution is due the dissipative processes, the preequilibrium effects in this light nuclear system being also noticed.
