Description

Small scale two-stage refrigerators for maintenance free, long term, operation are now available. Such refrigerators are ideal for cooling of cryopumps for many high and ultra-high vacuum applications. Different types of refrigerator-cooled cryopumps were tested using either condensation panels for nitrogen only or a combination of condensation panels and adsorption panels for nitrogen and hydrogen.
