Preparation of a 211At-IgG conjugate which is stable in vivo

Description
The short lived (tsub(1/2) 7.2 h) α-particle emitting halogen 211At has been attached to an antibody by using an acylation reaction to conjugate para-[211At]astato-benzoic acid with rabbit IgG. The conjugate, which is stable in vivo, contains at least 30% of the initial activity of 211At. (author)
