Batan-Fuel: A General In-Core Fuel Management Code

Description
A general in-core fuel management code, Batan-FUEL, has been succesfully developed and verified. Batan-FUEL in-core fuel managment code is designed to simulated and record the nuclear fuel burnup in a reactor core within thr framework of multigroup neutron diffusion theory in 2-D X-Y or R-Z reactor geometris. The verification results with IAFUEL, and interelative differences for the fuel element burnup levels, fuel element channel factors (power peaking factors) and the effective multiplication factors were around 1.8 %, 5.2%, and 0.2 %, respectively, therefore, a good agreement was obtained.(author); 2 tabs, 5 figs
