Charge diffusion in the capacitive readout of resistive cathodes
Description
A quantitative description is given for the charge flow on a resistive cathode. The emphasis is on the implications on pad readout of large calorimeters equipped with plastic streamer tubes. Measurements are presented which give support to the theory, and also reveal details of the internal construction of the streamer tubes. (orig.)
