Inclination to intergranular corrosion of chromium-nickel austenitic steels alloyed with nitrogen and molybdenum
Description
The effect of nitrogen alloying combined with other elements, for example, molybdenum and nickel on austenitic steels inclination to intergranular corrosion (IGC) is investigated. It is shown that chromium-nickel austenitic steels alloying by nitrogen and nitrogen combined with molybdenum decreases their inclination to low-potential IGC not only at low but also at higher carbon content (∼ 0.1 %)
