Description
A Counting Type Radiation Scanner for pre-stressed concrete girder imaging is presented. The contrast of counting type radiation scanner is only affected by quanta noise and has no relationship with the electronics noise. The dosage can be therefore reduced and the dynamic range can be extended. The result of Monte Carlo simulation for contrast evaluating, and a simple but advanced data acquisition design based on FPGA and DSP, are described
