Crystal structure of TmRuGa3 and its analogs

Description
The crystal structure of compounds RRuGa3 (R is a rare earth element of the yttrium subgroup) is studied. For TmRuGa3 the cubic lattice parameters are the following: a=0.6352 nm, sp.gr. Pm3m. TheTmRuGa3 structure is a representative of a new structure type, it can be described as a derivative of the close packing. In R-Ru-Ga systems (R=Gd, Tb, Y, Dy, Ho, Er) at 850 K some compounds, isostructural with TmRuGa3, for which elementary cell volumes are linearly related to radii of three-charged ions of rare earths
