Measurement of polarization transfer in the deuteron break-up reaction D-vector+C→p-vector(0 deg)+X at internal momenta up k=550 MeV/c

  • 1. Joint Inst. for Nuclear Research, Dubna (Russian Federation)

Description

The experiments with disintegration of relativistic polarized deuterons give a possibility to study the deuteron spin structure at small internucleonic distances. Accessibility of polarized deuterons with a momentum of up to 9 GeV/c gave rise to the measurement of the tensor analyzing power T20 and the polarization transfer coefficient at maximal internal momenta. 9 refs.; 2 figs
