Impact-picture expectations for very high-energy elastic pp and anti pp scattering

Description
We review the predictions of the impact-picture for the many features which characterize elastic nucleon-nucleon scattering at very high energy. The comparison with recent CERN data up to the SPS collider energy shows the consistency of this theoretical approach and we give some predictions for the next generation of collider machines with the highest energy √s=40 TeV.
