The NOMAD experiment at the CERN SPS
Description
The NOMAD experiment that searches for νμ → ντ oscillations at the CERN wide band neutrino beam is reviewed. The sensitivity of the experiment is of 3.8 10-4 for the mixing parameter sin2(2Θ) at a large mass difference between the two neutrinos. Some results obtained in the 1995 neutrino run are reported.
