Multifilamentary superconducting materials for large scale applications
Description
An overview is given of the recent development of multifilamentary superconducting composites which has been undertaken to meet the requirements of their use in large scale superconducting devices. Manufacturing techniques are discussed and examples of conductors in use in these devices given to illustrate the manner in which commercial materials have developed over the last decade. (U.K.)
